Wow it's been a while since I've spent time on DA! I hope you are still being awesome wherever you are. I can't believe I haven't submitted this; this was one of the 12 "breadth" pieces I did for my AP Art Portfolio, in addition to the 12 here: annsquare.deviantart.com/galle…
The physical piece was a gift for my friend in my art class who really loves giraffes. She painted me Little Prince in return
The main objects are outlined with a acrylic-like gel, and then painted over with acrylics on canvas using a big brush (it was a lot of fun! I think I imitated Starry Night unconsciously).
